Christopher NEAME† - Joint Artistic Director
As a Producer Christopher has been responsible for many films and television
series such as The Knowledge (BAFTA nominated), The Flame Trees of Thika, The Irish R.M. and Soldier, Soldier. He has several screenplays to his credit
including Graham Greene's Monsignor Quixote, starring Alec Guinness
(Christopher Award New York and BAFTA nominated) and H.E.Bates's Feast of July for Disney. He also scripted the theatrical version of Monsignor
Quixote. He wrote the book and lyrics for the stage musical, Courtenay, which
he produced in 2003 in the UK. Subsequently Christopher co-wrote
the book and lyrics for Lyssi, a musical loosely based on Aristophanes’s Lysistrata that debuted in concert in Sarajevo as part of the
celebrations surrounding France’s assumption of the EU presidency
in 2008. Recently he has written the books; Rungs On a Ladder for
Scarecrow Press (about his formative years with Hammer Films); A Take on British TV Drama, and Principal Characters. His fictional work includes Lonicera, a love story set in New Zealand and Europe. Christopher is married and lives near Avignon. |

Veronica GRANGE - Joint Artistic Director
An actress and singer by training – London Academy of Music and Dramatic
Art and Morley College Opera School – Veronica has lived for almost thirty
years in the Vaucluse. As a performer she has worked in England at the
Royal Court Theatre, the Cottesloe, and the Royal Opera House, as well as
other prestigious venues. Then in Switzerland at Geneva’s le Théâtre de
Carouge, and with various festivals in France and America in opera and recital
programmes. Her ability and creative understanding of both domaines has
led to teaching posts in vocal technique and stagecraft at several music
schools including the Association Opéra Atelier 84. As a director she has overseen a number of shows for different cultural centres including Carpentras, programmes for the Journées de Patrimoine. For several seasons she directed operas for Festival Coté Cour in Aix-en-Provence. |
